 The Balearic Cup has been in existence for over 15 years. The competition is held annually and played between the cricket clubs from Mallorca, Menorca and Ibiza. Last year the tournament was held in Menorca, this year Mallorca will be hosting the event, and next year onto Ibiza. The event is always held over the first week-end in May. The tounament is held over 3 days, on a round robin format. Games are 40 overs per side and the winning team is presented with the Balearic Cup. The holders of the Cup are Ibiza C.C.; Mallorca having won in 2005 & 2006.
The competition is very keenly contested with a friendly rivalry. The social event culminates at the Balearic Cup Dinner where there are speeches and presentations.

Santa Ponsa beach will play host to one of Europe's hottest sports crazes - beach rugby.
This sports festival will have a superb setting and is open to senior Men’s and Women’s Social teams. Beach rugby is a fast-moving, invasion game and sand, sea and sun make a great combination to play rugby on. Due to the nature of playing on sand there are some variances to the regular game making it even faster and more furious than conventional rugby!
