PROVENZAL
Situated on the ground floor of the former Golden Door Club this restaurant offers a cosy and fun atmosphere with a special mix of local Spanish tapas with a modern touch (try their tasting menu “Variations”). Atmosphere is guaranteed courtesy of the guitarist, Paulino, who sets the scene with his potpourri of Spanish and international music (you can even buy the Golden Door CD which features his impressive skills). Popular with customers from all over the world this is a terrific place for a night out as international relations are very much encouraged!

SAZÒN
Situated in the “La Lonja“ area (and opposite Provenzal), the hot tip and very popular Sazòn excels with its unique style of cooking, decoration and service. The menu combines variations of Mediterranean, Asian, and international style.
WARNING! Do not expect your run of the mill 3-course-menu. The restaurant encourages its guests to create their own individual culinary experience by combining different tapas-size dishes. If you’re not familiar with this unusual idea, then the restaurant offers a degustacion (tasting) menu ‘Our Variations’ – prepare yourself to be delighted. The atmosphere at Sazón is friendly, light and relaxed, which is created by the tasteful decoration and the lovely waiting team. Due to its layout and intimate corners, Sazón is just as appropriate for a romantic dinner as for larger tables of friends.

ECCO!
If you’re in the market for fresh pasta, crunchy salads and Italian specialities all served in mansize portions (at very reasonable prices) then wander over to this restaurant between C/. Sant Joan and Plaza Drassana. Eat food the way Mama used to make it and get friendly on the long tables over a glass of excellent wine. Cube and Christoph the two young chefs give Ecco! a friendly face with excellent culinary capacities and loads of charm. An additional speciality is the Sunday Italian brunch with freshly cooked pasta dishes and a selection of cold salads, vegetables, cheeses, and hams as well as some sweeter delights.
